2020 TRASH PICKUPS WILL BE THE WEEKS OF JULY 13TH AND OCTOBER 5TH
Trash Pickup Rules and Regulations
Please do not put trash out before 3pm on the Sunday prior to pickup dates posted. You must have your trash to the curb by Sunday evening. The pickup throughout the Township takes approximately 4 days to complete, once the haulers have come through your area they will not return to your area. Please do not put additional trash on the road sides after the haulers have been through your area, it will not be picked up.
ALL residents living on private roads must have the trash placed at the end of the road in a pile.
Items must be limited to what two men can lift.
Barrels with both ends (tops and bottoms) will NOT be picked up, All other barrels will be taken unless marked to stay.
Trash piles should be located within easy reach from the road, preferably not more than 20 feet from the roadside.
Please have loose items bagged or in containers. Loose items with not be picked up.
Old appliances will be picked up if two men can lift them. NO air conditioners, refrigerators, freezers or dehumidifiers unless tagged that refrigerants have been removed by a professional. Appliances can also be recycled, please call the Township for a Resource Recovery card and a list of recycling sites.
ABSOLUTELY NO YARD WASTE!
No building materials, tires, household garbage or containers for food products will be picked up.
No rocks, sand, concrete, rubble or dead animals will be picked up.
No motor oil or containers with liquids such as oil based or latex paint will be picked up. Cans with dried paint are acceptable if the lids are removed.
Complaints will be verified by Township personnel and checked against the driver's log.
Any items not picked up are the property owners responsibility and must be removed by 12:00 on the following day of each pickup
